Ads - why do they work? They just do! by Silke Stahl
I pretty much built my first online frontline team through free classifieds so I advise my affiliates to do the same. No-one knows EXACTLY how or why free class work but they do, and by tracking the results we know which ads on which sites produce results.
I never used to be convinced by the THEORY of result tracking, but after using it, I can't deny the repeat success is better than looking for new sites and testing new ads each week. I now preach what I practice!
Why do they work? People want to start a home biz or "work from home" so they use the search engines and free class sites to find what they want. As I have said before, people on TEs, or who opt into listbuilders, have ALREADY found their biz opp and want a way to promote it.
Once you have built a team and refined your process, it is easier to reproduce and build another team, or give to your downline to duplicate. One of the goals for each Team Leader (IMHO) should be to identify potential leaders they have recruited and show them how to duplicate your method and become a PTL themselves. Whether they call it DAP or HLE (my own term - it's just a name don't fuss over it), duplicating a proven method zeroes in on success.
It would be good for Team Leaders to share their success stories, should they be inclined, and for people to keep theory and opinion out of the matter, especially the "I don't THINK that WOULD work" from those who haven't tried it or haven't succeeded. Stick to FACTS and comment on proven results.
We see a lot of posts in forums asking Leaders to share their specific success story. Well why not buy a book or read an article by published leader? We always see recommendations for IAHBE, (and yes I myself advise my own team to MIQ via it and more important USE IT), - go and read the success stories there.
Building a list is an important, if indirect action, in NWM, MLM so you have contacts. But it's more important to build a relationship of trust with those who optin to the list than to quickly do a "legal spam" for your biz opp. I have people who joined my lists who I have helped promote their biz opp and introduced SFI as a second opportunity and second income stream.
If my Marketing Group want advice on advertising I direct them to successful free ad sites (I'm afraid I CANNOT share these on the forum for obvious reasons), the IAHBE leads, Eagle Coop and PPCs.
To quote a "JKD" concept - take the massive floodlight of information available and focus it, keep working at focussing it. Eventually you will have a concentrated laser beam. A unique method that works for you.
